Modular blocks reorganizing into structured layers with glowing orange circuit lines, representing Agentforce agents migrating to the new builder

From the Desk of Managed Services

The ground under your AI is shifting. And so is how good work gets built.

The platform you build agents on is being re-architected. Summer ’26 is landing in your org. And we have changed how we deliver to get you to value faster. Here are three things we are working through with clients right now, plus a new CirriusTalk episode.

Agentforce Builder Migration: Your Agents Are Moving

With Spring ’26, the new Agentforce Builder and Agent Script are GA and now the standard. Your agent becomes a version-controlled text file with full source control.

What’s Changing
  • Version-controlled agents with source control and CI/CD
  • Hybrid reasoning blends business rules with natural language
  • Built-in simulation to test changes safely
Why It’s Urgent
  • Classic builder is sunsetting. No new features or fixes.
  • No automatic upgrade path. Agents must be rebuilt.
  • New “Agent” button reportedly removed around July 13, 2026

Summer ’26: What Actually Matters for Your Org

Summer ’26 is reaching production now. Here is the short list worth your attention.

Worth a Look
  • Agentforce governance grows up: permission sets, audit, monitoring
  • Multi-Agent Orchestration: agents work as a coordinated team
  • AI Content Summarizer: a drop-in Lightning component and quick win
  • Flow Builder: one of its strongest updates in memory
  • Tighter security controls: another nudge toward least-privilege
How to Approach It
  • Do not chase every feature
  • Pick the two or three that map to your roadmap
  • Test in a sandbox, and skip the rest

A Shift in How We Deliver: POC-First

We have changed how we start projects. Instead of heavy documentation, we build a clickable prototype that simulates your future Salesforce experience before any configuration. You catch misalignments and reach alignment in week two, not in UAT.

“If changing the artifact would change someone’s understanding of what you are building, the artifact should be a POC.”Chad Anderson
3 to 5x
faster delivery, with lower post-go-live support cost
~8 hrs
setup that once took 60 to 80 hours

The honest caveat: AI can over-deliver beyond Salesforce’s native capabilities, so every POC is paired with expert validation.

Cutting the hype on AI dev-tool security

Hosts Tim Harting and Gavin Franklin offer a calibrated middle. They separate the overstated fears, like file deletion and vendor data training, from the threats that demand action now, like prompt injection, unreviewed automation, and exposed API keys. They close with six mitigation principles. A strong companion to this month’s POC and Agentforce themes.

Looking Ahead

Build on solid ground. And prove it early.

The thread through all of this: AI is moving from experiment to production foundation. The orgs that win treat governance, deliberate adoption, and faster validation as features, not afterthoughts.
